Can you believe it???? Lowes isn’t selling any Christmas trees this year. They are selling Holiday Trees! HOLIDAY trees for Christ sake. My kids aren’t getting out for Christmas break. They are out on Winter Break. And have you seen the Ad’s from Kohl’s and Belk? They don’t say Christmas savings or Christmas discounts? Are you ready for this??? They say HOLIDAY sale!!! It’s an outrage I tell you. I mean, we are Christians. Its our tradition and our holiday you can’t take the Christ out of the advertisements for holiday sales, umm I mean Christmas sales. I mean, how in the world are we going to reach all those lost consumers out there if the sales brochure doesn’t have the word Christ embedded in it? We need to stand up my Christian warriors. After all weren’t they first called Christmas trees in Antioch? We need to follow the footsteps of our forefathers. When society won’t believe what we want them to believe, we need to force them by golly!!! They did it in Spain… what was that called again.. The Spanish Inquisition. And we did it in Jerusalem too we forced society to our Christian values by showing the love and grace of the savior of the world at the tip of a sword. “Repent or die you sinner” was the valiant battle cry of old. I’m calling for a new crusade. Just like the ones of old. Lets stand up and threaten with bodily harm anyone who says Happy Holidays at the check out line. THAT’LL show em the love of Christ!!!
So lets keep the Christ in Christmas. After all that’s what its all about right? I mean we as CHRISTIANS would never fall prey to the consumerism of Christmas like all those sinners out there in society. So as each of us decide to celebrate the birth of the savior of all men, as we all sacrifice and fast from the things we want, from the luxuries we enjoy to enable us to feed the hungry, to enable us to clothe the poor, to give shelter to the homeless, to enable us to afford to travel to places were they have never even heard the name of Jesus… Lets stand up for what’s right and Force society to keep the letters C H R I S T in the word Christmas. Because we believe its all about Christ right? That’s why the gifts we give are given unto the King! Right?
SIDENOTE: Anyone have a Wii they want to part with? I have been looking like crazy for one for my daughter. I’ll gladly pay my 10% above your cost. Should that be 10% before taxes or after? Anyway, let me know if you have one to spare!!!

I know this is an old post but I agree. As a fellow Christan, what is and will be happening to CHRISTmas in the country saddens me. I want my son to know the meaning of Christmas and be suronded my positive things during this time…
Keep up the good work my friend… Keep the faith and don’t let the devil fill up any empty space in your mind, fill it with Jesus!
